Turbocharger

With 210 horsepower and 425 pounds-feet of torque, Ford’s 7.3-liter Powerstroke engine is known to be one of the most reliable diesel engines produced. However, there can be issues with the single Garrett TP38 turbo.

Soot can build up in the wastegated turbocharger, leading to a loss of boost and poor performance. Other signs of a failing 7.3L Powerstroke turbo include a loud whining noise or excessive blue or gray smoke.

Replacing or upgrading your turbocharger can improve airflow, reduce compressor surging, increase boost, and lower EGTs.

ProSource Diesel has all of the parts you need for a Powerstroke TP38 turbo upgrade.
