The Colt Cams Bolt-On Cam Gear Retainer is designed to keep the camshaft gear from walking off the crankshaft. This is a must-have upgrade for any 12V and 24V Cummins. The Cam Gear Retainer can also be used on the 03+ Common Rail engine but is not required. If used on the Common Rail, the front cover must be modified for additional clearance.
