Enhance the performance of the 46RE and 47RE TorqueFlite in your 1996-2002 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 Pickup with the TransGo TFOD-Diesel SHIFT KIT. This Shift Kit allows you to modify your transmission to fix the common complaints such as TCC slip or shudder, 2nd gear band and direct clutch failure, and torque converter drain-back.

This kit gives you the internal components so your transmission can operate at higher pressures. As a result, the max line pressure in 1st,2nd,3rd, can be set to 125 PSI, and up to 150PSI in lock-up or 4th gear. These line pressure increases provide you with a significant increase in torque capacity for all of the friction elements including the TCC clutch.

Elevated line pressures are ideal for performance-built and heavy-duty work trucks. Once installed the shift timing remains at the OE RPM, but is shorter and crisp with no harshness or banging. Each kit also includes a TransGo manual valve to reduce torque converter drain back to eliminate overnight forward and reverse delay. This kit can be installed with the transmission in the truck.

• Part throttle body transfer plate, pin and two detent limit valve springs
• Mumbly peg (for easy detent spring and ball installation)
• USA-made hardened steel manual valve with converter charge in park provision
• (3) 3-4 accumulator springs and plug for accumulator housing
• Transfer plate, tapered plug, spring, checkball and limit bushing
• (2) 3-4 quick fill valve springs
• Main valve body separator plate
• Solenoid body plate
• Boost valve bracket and optional tuning plate
• PR valve shim, spring seat and inner spring for line-to-converter feed provision as well as outer spring for increased pressure
• (2) Drill bits

Does not fit 48RE or the 2003 Dodge trucks with the 8th VIN code of ‘C’.
