In 1967 Bosch laid the foundation for the automotive industry’s common electronic ignition systems via the introduction of fuel injection into mass production. Lambda (oxygen) Sensors were brought into the automotive market in 1976 which have in turn kept us healthier and vehicles more efficient ever since.
