Odyssey starts with flat plates that are made out of 99.99% pure lead, not a lead-alloy like lesser competitors. The pure lead construction allows the plates to be thinner, so more plates can fit inside the case. Additional plates mean additional surface area, and that equals additional power!

All batteries employ dry cell Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) technology to contain the acid. This allows the battery to be installed in virtually any position, even on its side. For added durability, the batteries also feature Robust Intercell Connections. This helps prevent premature battery failure, typically caused by high-impact shocks and vibrations.
